Foster collaboration among developers, stakeholders, and the community to host vibrant events that celebrate Harrisburg’s diversity and heritage, strengthening unity and pride.

Strengthen partnerships between businesses and city administration to drive inclusive growth, enhance engagement, and build a thriving Harrisburg we’re all proud to call home.

Youth Engagement and Empowerment

 By fostering collaboration among community leaders, educators, and organizations, we can ensure that young people have access to valuable resources, mentorship, and opportunities that prepare them for future success. A citywide effort will strengthen the impact of these programs, providing a seamless transition into adulthood and empowering the next generation to thrive.

Throughout her life’s work, Elyse has maintained true to her mission: to connect, cultivate and celebrate local businesses and entrepreneurship. Her passion for celebrating our culture and appreciation for its irreplaceable value in society is unmatched! Unapologetically known for creating experiences ‘for the culture’, Elyse’s vision has led to her being the recipient of the 2019 Midtown Business of the Year Award from Friends of Midtown. She is currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Young Professionals of Color, Juneteenth HBG Committee Director, Business Doula at BLACC, and most notably, the Chief Event Curator at Elyse Irvis. Appropriately named, Elyse Irvis provides a space for not only business and social events, but it also creates a space for individuals to introduce a wide variety of cultural experiences to the City of Harrisburg. Elyse Irvis serves as a community development agency, geared towards empowering aspiring business owners to gain the necessary tools to not only launch new businesses, but to assist in the preservation and scaling of existing businesses. Elyse Irvis utilizes her platform to spark LOCAL business development and opportunities within Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
